Manoa

known for its beautiful historical plantation style architecture and greenery...

Manoa Valley

There is no other neighborhood on O’ahu that better embodies the word “Charm” than Manoa Valley. If you can envision the iconic Ko’olau Mountain backdrop, lush monstera patches and age old monkey pod trees, topped off with daily rainbows; Manoa Valley is all that and more.  Manoa in Hawaiian means “thick, solid, vast, or depth” and refers to the unique tropical vegetation and shape of the valley. At its base, it is home to Hawaii's prestigious UH Manoa Campus and while moments from town, you can escape into the depths of the valley to completely surrender from fast paced city life into a family centered community.

Where to Eat and Shop

Besides it’s historic charm, Manoa is most loved for its desirable location and authentic small town feel. Residents often don't need to go much further than the Manoa Marketplace, although opportunities to eat and shop are endless with a short commute to anywhere in Honolulu.

Waioli TeaRoom, The Waioli Tea Room originated in 1922 as a center where orphaned  children could fulfill their vocational training. Today, it still stands with a recreated sense of purpose and intention to make a social impact for those who need it.  Situated in Manoa Valley, it provides an excellent breakfast aesthetic. In the back you can find Waioli workers harvesting local Hawaiian salt and honey.

Off The Hook Poke Market, While it's a controversial topic. This is arguably one of the best poke spots on the island. Cold Ginger Ahi has the neighborhood actually HOOKED.
